Ruthin Shoot

This shoot enjoys spectacular mountain views on one side of the valley; mostly pasture land with plenty of natural cover.

There are several woods and some steep slopes. Pheasants are released each year and provide good sport throughout the season

The shoot also offers good rough shooting and varied sport, mainly with pheasant, woodcock and rabbits.

Days at the beginning of the season are organised to accommodate up to twelve guns by booking with the Shoot Secretary.

Shooting is then available to syndicate members throughout the season, on weekdays and weekends with the only proviso that shooting is booked through the Shoot secretary with at least 2 days notice.

The shoot is open all year round for vermin shooting, flushing rabbits from the gorse can provide good sport and excellent opportunities for dog training.
